I applied really late, but luckily USC still gives out interviews late into the cycle. I was invited to the post-dec interview. It's a laid back setting. You sit around and talk to everyone and get to meet your possible classmates. It's a group interview where you pull two questions out of a bowl; one question is dental related and the other isn't. Then you do a PBL case to see if you're comfortable with that learning style. Personally, it fits me well since I always studied in groups in college.
